Both the litter boxes and tenna toppers were promotions WGH did in connection with MacDonald's. The first time I saw the litter boxes was the Christmas season of 1964. There's a pic of a woman carrying a litter box on the February 14, 1965 Top 30 sheet. That was a classic sheet with the Righteous Brothers' You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin' as number one (for the second week), and Bob Calvert's selection of Stop! In the Name of Love by the Supremes as the Wax to Watch.
