Gene Loving worked for at least one other Richmond radio station before coming to WGH. That was WEZL, a daytimer on 1590 khz. Carlton Shrieves also worked there because I remember meeting Carlotn at a WEZL remote in the summer of 1959 or 1960. Jess DuBoy, the man who invented the "walking thru the car lot" auto dealer TV commercial, was the P.D. at WEZL.
