Gene Loving's last air shift on WGH was Saturday, April 11, 1970, and he began working at WNOR a couple of weeks later. Bob Calvert had a three-month divorce from WGH ..he left after doing his Friday afternoon shift on Friday, September 28, 1962, and came back on Sunday, December 30, 1962. After that brief departure, he began making more money and lived at 619 Bridge Street in Hampton. He and his first wife Janice lived in the old J.S. Darling Mansion. Calvert did the 2-7 shift at WGH until September 28, 1962. When he came back three months later, he did a Noon-3 shift Mon-Fri and did the Top 30 Show on Sundays from Dec 30, 1962 until late 1969. On many of the warmer weather Sundays in the 1960's, he had a weekly remote broadcast from WGH Showmobile I (which lasted from 1957 until a huge wind storm in 1971) at the old Ocean View Amusement Park. Tom Scott was a midday man at WNOR in those days, and began as WGH's all night man on Monday May 20 1968.
