Roger Austin Clark (real name) was 66 when he died August 14, 1990 from a heart attack in the parking lot of a Home Depot-type store in Virginia Beach. He came to WGH in early 1958 after a stint at WNOR. When the late Gene Creasy (who was at WGH from July 1959 through November 1962) left for Baltimore, Roger became the Program Director. He held that post from the fall of '62 until October 9, 1967. That's when John Lindemulder (John Garry) came to 2301 West Mercury Boulevard to be the new PD that answered to Francis Ambert Dail (WGH's General Manager).
