I started listing to "Color Radio" in 1960.I can remember driving down Granby Street in 1963 on the way to Ocean View Amusement Park in my 409 Chevrolet with my girlfiend in the front seat and other friends in the back.At Granby St. and Tidewater Dr. I could start smelling the salt from the ocean and the music from "The Best Sound in Dixie" on the radio with Bob Calvert running the whole feeling in my soul from the Showmobile.I grew up with the "Swinging Six"Even in the jungles of Vietnam there was WGH .Airchecks made from people in the world could be sent to Armed Forces Radio and played .So as the Jingle says "Where Ever You Are,Your Not Very Far From GH" Thanks to all the "Men Of Music".......
